These Paid Services Terms ("Paid Terms") supplement the LuveDay Terms of Service and govern your purchase and use of paid subscriptions, storage upgrades, and digital features (collectively, "Paid Services") provided by Young Dai Zi Innovation ("we," "our," or "us") within the LuveDay application (the "App").
By purchasing or using any Paid Services, you agree to these Paid Terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase our Paid Services.
1. Subscription Tiers & Premium Features
LuveDay offers optional paid subscription tiers (e.g., Lite and Pro) alongside our Free tier. Subscribing unlocks enhanced features, such as increased encrypted cloud storage for media, expanded messaging perks, custom themes, and higher personal and shared vault allocations.
- Feature Allocations: Specific storage limits and premium feature availability are displayed in the App at the time of purchase.
- Shared & Couple Allocations: Certain premium tiers grant shared storage or benefits for connected couple accounts. Subscription benefits remain bound to the paying user's account and will revert if the subscription expires or is canceled.
2. Billing & Payment Processing
All purchases and payment transactions are processed securely through authorized third-party platforms:
- Apple App Store (iOS): Managed by Apple Inc.
- Google Play Store (Android): Managed by Google LLC.
- Web Payments & Portal Checkout: Managed via authorized billing engines (e.g., RevenueCat and Stripe).
We do not collect, process, or store full credit card numbers or banking credentials on our servers. You agree to comply with the applicable terms of service and billing policies of your selected app marketplace or payment engine.
3. Automatic Renewal & Cancellation
3.1 Auto-Renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless you cancel auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends.
3.2 How to Cancel: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your respective store or portal settings. For a complete visual step-by-step guide, please visit our How to Cancel Subscription Guide.
- iOS (Apple App Store): Open device Settings > tap Apple ID > Subscriptions > LuveDay > Cancel Subscription.
- Android (Google Play Store): Open Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > LuveDay > Cancel Subscription.
- Web / Direct Billing: Go to Settings > Account & Security > Manage Subscription inside the App or web dashboard.
3.3 Service Access Upon Cancellation: If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to enjoy paid features until the end of your current paid billing period. After the cycle ends, your account (and any connected partner account under your shared plan) will automatically convert back to the Free tier.
4. Upgrades, Downgrades & Proration
When switching between subscription tiers (e.g., upgrading from Lite to Pro):
- App Store & Google Play: Proration and billing logic are governed directly by Apple or Google Play store policies. Plan changes may result in immediate credit, prorated charges for remaining days, or cycle resets depending on the platform's native subscription rules.
- Web Purchases: Immediate tier upgrades will credit unused days from your previous plan toward the new tier, adjusting your next billing anchor date or applying a net difference charge immediately.
- Storage Downgrades: If you downgrade to a lower tier or return to the Free tier, you will retain access to previously uploaded media files. However, if your stored content exceeds the new tier limit, you will be blocked from uploading new encrypted media until your storage usage falls within your allowed tier capacity or you delete existing files.
5. Strict No-Refund Policy
Except as strictly required by applicable law or specific platform policies, all subscription purchases, storage upgrades, and digital payments are strictly non-refundable once processed. Unused days or partial billing periods will not be refunded upon cancellation.
5.1 Error-Based Exceptions
Refunds or account credits may be considered solely at our discretion under the following limited error conditions:
- Technical Billing Errors: You were double-charged, overcharged due to a technical server defect, or charged erroneously after your cancellation was successfully processed and confirmed.
- System Provisioning Failures: A confirmed payment was successfully charged, but our technical systems failed to deliver or unlock the purchased Paid Services within 48 hours of payment verification.
5.2 Store-Specific Refund Workflows
Because payment processing is governed by third-party platforms, refund requests for technical errors must follow the appropriate platform process:
- Apple App Store (iOS): Refunds are controlled directly by Apple. We do not have the technical authority to process or issue refunds for iOS transactions. To request a refund for a billing error, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play Store (Android): Refunds are governed by Google Play refund policies. You may request a refund directly through the Google Play Store or contact us with your Google Play Order ID for billing error verification.
- Direct Web Purchases: If you experienced a billing error or double charge on a web-based purchase, please contact us at contact@youngdaizi.com within 14 days of the charge with your transaction ID and account details. Refund requests submitted for reasons other than verified billing/technical errors will be denied.
6. Price Adjustments
We reserve the right to modify subscription fees or tier structures at any time. In the event of a price increase affecting active recurring subscriptions:
- We will provide you with at least 90 days' advance notice via in-app announcements, direct messages, or email.
- The updated pricing will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle following the end of the notice period.
- If you do not agree with the new price, you must cancel your subscription prior to the renewal date. Continued use of Paid Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
7. Zero-Knowledge E2EE & Data Retention on Termination
Paid subscriptions provide extra capacity for End-to-End Encrypted (E2EE) data. Please review the following key security terms:
- No Key Access: Subscribing to paid tiers does not alter our zero-knowledge architecture. We do not hold cryptographic private keys and cannot decrypt your data to restore or backup content if you lose your credentials or master passkeys.
- Account Deletion or Banning: If you initiate account deletion or if your account is terminated for violating our Terms of Service (such as illegal conduct or abuse), active subscriptions will not be automatically refunded. All encrypted storage buckets associated with the account will be permanently purged in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
