Important Subscription Notice Before Deleting

Deleting your LuveDay account DOES NOT automatically cancel your active paid subscription. Payments are managed independently by third-party payment providers (Apple, Google, or Stripe). To avoid being charged on your next billing cycle, you must manually cancel your subscription through your device's store or billing portal prior to deleting your account.

Step 1: Cancel Active Subscriptions

Please follow the instructions for your payment provider before requesting account deletion:

Apple App Store (iOS): Open device Settings > tap your Apple ID name > Subscriptions > select LuveDay > tap Cancel Subscription.
Google Play Store (Android): Open the Google Play Store app > tap your Profile Icon > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > select LuveDay > tap Cancel Subscription.
Web Billing Portal: Navigate to Settings > Account & Security > Manage Subscription inside the App or web dashboard to manage your portal billing link.

Step 2: Delete Your Account

Method 1: Inside the App (Recommended)

Open the LuveDay app on your device.
Go to Settings.
Tap on Account & Security.
Press Delete Account and confirm your request.

Once submitted, your account profile is immediately deactivated, access tokens are destroyed, and your encrypted payload files are queued for immediate active purging.

Method 2: Email Support Request

If you have already uninstalled the app or no longer have access to your device, you can request manual account deletion:

Send an email to contact@youngdaizi.com.
You must send this request from the email address associated with your LuveDay account so we can verify ownership.
Our support team will verify your identity and initiate the deletion process on your behalf.

Data Deletion Timeline & Retention

When an account deletion request is processed:

Active Content & Media: Your end-to-end encrypted chat messages, shared photos, voice notes, calendar events, and finance tracker records are immediately removed from active databases and cloud storage buckets.
Complete System Wipe: Complete erasure of residual system metadata and offline encrypted backups takes up to 90 days to fully overwrite across all automated backup rotation cycles and data safety protocols.

Critical Security Notice: LuveDay uses End-to-End Encryption (E2EE). Because your encryption keys are destroyed upon deletion and we maintain a zero-knowledge architecture, this action is completely irreversible. Once account deletion is initiated, your encrypted data cannot be decrypted, restored, or recovered by anyone.
